Figgered I would replace the weight bushings(stealing the bushings from a curve kit). Upon inspection the entire top of distributor shaft is loose; rotor, reluctor & all. NOT just the weight bushings, the whole thing will rock side/side. It's not wear in the dist housing, but the upper part of the shaft moves around. It has been many years since I disassembled an HEI, can this be repaired or will I need a new shaft/dist? Brian | | |
