I have a model year 1959 Apache truck VIN 3A59O100092 and I need to prove to my insurance company ICBC that the truck was made in 1958. I have found out from the VIN decoder that the is a model year 1959., series 3100, plant Oakland and sequential number 100092. I believe this means the truck was the 92nd truck of the series to be made at that plant and production normally starts in September. I all so understand the truck was made in the USA which means Canada GM knows nothing about it and the American GM only give out information to Americans and will not send me information.
Can anyone help me prove the truck was made in 1958?
