I found that if I played with the mixture screw I could get it to squeal. No vacuum leak. I had that car for 10 years, and when ever I messed with the carb I could get it to squeal or whistle by playing with the mixture.
I have heard one or two other carbs do the same thing, I assume it has to do with air passing over/around/thru passages in the carb throat. | | |
