I have a 1965 Chevy I am restoring and need to change the locks. I have bought a lock kit that has matching locks for both doors, the glove box and the ignition.
However, to get into the door to change the door handle locks, I need to remove the metal panel to gain access. The door handle and the window crank handle need to be removed and I cannot see the retaining clip on the shaft. Do these handles require a special tool to remove them or is there a "super-secret" method I can use to get these off without damaging the door or the handles?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
