If given the choice I would always choose the 200R4 over the T350 as mileage is quite a concern..engine life being secondary.
My '70 truck is really in need of the another gear(T350) and I am running a 3.07:1 rear gear.
So, I would urge you, especially with the gear you are running, to go with the 200R4.
