This plate was made out of 1/8" aluminum plate. The original plate was made of 1/16" pressed steel (with side edges turned to provide rigidity). Are the Bow Tie Bits mounting brackets reproduction or used? Did they have the foam/rubber gasket for between the plate and the dash (54/55 rubber/foam is different from 47-43)? | | |
