Are they spot welded from the back side? All I see is one bolt holding each one in place from the outside. That bolt goes through the angle strip but does not actually hold the angle on. It is one of the bolts that attaches the fender. We have an installation instruction on the website that may be helpful. http://www.mar-k.com/installation_hints.html Click on "angle strip installation 54-72".
