Denny: Details about the finishes are in the link. Just click on "wood finish testing information II" for details. Minwax (Sherwin Williams) makes Helmsman and POR 15 makes Pelucid. Pelucid is great for adhesion and strength of the bond, and Helmsman provides UV protection. Helmsman should be available locally and Pelucid is easily mail order, link is in the article.
