actually I just got 31.35BF of clear rough cut lumber to do a short fleetside bed [slightly bigger than a stepbed], allowing for waste .... not sure why you're calling for 56BF

but if you don't have access to the shop tools to do the shaping/finishing yerself, yes it's better to get MarK's
