I have seen it last well as siding (it was so hard that nail holes had to be drilled) but have not seen or heard about its durability as bed word. Here is an evaluation of the characteristics of black locust wood. They tested a variety of things, including paint adhesion and durability as dorm flooring. Tim | | |
