My 235 only has about 60,000 miles, and is running great. I wanted to do a quick rebuild to stop some oil leaks and port for full oil flow. Have any of you fellas ever used these engine hones that you put on a drill? Will I end up getting the cylinders out of round. Of course I've used the brake cylinder hone so I know how they work, but that is a less important piece. The tool warehouse has a hone on sale for $15.00, but I don't know if that is even too cheap to look at. At the same time I plan to replace the rings, gaskets, and shine up all parts (crank and pistons, but should I replace the rods? I can't afford a full rebuild kit while doing other work too, but what do yall recomend I do while it is tore down? Any suggestions will be very appreciated.
