i have a '55 2nd that has been converted to a mystery 3 speed shifter on the floor. (still has the column shifter box on it but no rods)
i also have all the parts from a 68 three speed and column shift.
i tried to take the rods from the 68 and make them work on the 55. no go from 68 to 55. (location of shift box on column is different) but i am not sure if your current shift rods could be reworked to fit the 69 trans. the biggest concern would be where they mount up to the tranny.
