Maybe I wasn't quite clear, my '72 isn't going to become a dually. Ever.
No, if I convert one, it will be the '47 3/4-ton. And while the logic might be a little shaky, I really do want a dually. I'm not likely to ever drive it far enough to replace the tires, so that doesn't worry me. It just seems that the modern dually pickups are so wide that I can't help but wonder why...
I hope it doesn't need to make sense, because if it does I'm in trouble!
