All engines (216 and 235), except in the COE (235 5000 series Loadmaster engine), had zero pressure cooling systems. The COE engines had a 4 psi pressure cap.
In 1954, the new 235 had a 4 psi pressure cap in the truck and a 7 psi pressure cap in the automobile.
