Well, It runs really good(it does not want to stop!)
I am contemplating Putting it into a 2-ton truck and making a stovebolt retrieval vehicle.SOmething that can pull a fully buried truck out of the ground with a little torque to spare cool
It came out of a fire-truck which was getting a diesel engine installed. The fire-truck had documented 32,000 original miles.
This engine is COMPLETE from carburetors to starter to alternator and air compressor. It also has a transmission on it with linkages. I have not done a compression check on it yet but seems to run very smooth and no smoke other than what it burned out of the cylinders that I put into them.
When I went to get the unit, the guys who loaded it into my pick-up were thinking it was going to set my trucks frame down on the axles, they were a lot surprised(it didn`t even squat as much as I thought it would) grin
When it fired up, the whole house shook and the exhaust noise was a little loud eek (I stuffed rags in the exhaust after shutting it down to keep cold air from hitting the valves)
It sure put a smile on my face and made my heart beat a little faster cool grin

There is enough good in the worst of us and enough bad in the best of us that it does not behoove any of us to criticize the rest of us.

Be yourself. If you are ever lost, It will be much easier to find yourself if you know who you are!
