The lines to and from the engine into the filter are small diameter hydraulic lines. I do not care to follow the instructions of plugging, drilling, and tapping the holes in my block to convert my filtration system to full flow, if I do not have to. So, I am trying to find the largest diameter lines to increase the current 20% filtration system.
Yesterday, I read the conversion from the 20% filtration to full flow as described by Phat. His article showed to use copper. I have previously asked about fuel lines but was told the lines are not acceptable. I do not know why but either fuel lines clog or deteriorate.
Does everyone out there use the lines either from one of our friendly venders or what? Is copper an option? Or do you put on a male end and use hydraulic line with a hose clamp?
TIA
