Hey Whizz, long time no see! Hope all is well in La Belle Provence. The later inline sixes (like your 250) aren't a "direct bolt in" for an AD, unfortunately. The main issue is mounting. The later sixes mount to the sides of the engine block and transmission tailshaft just like a smallblock V-8-so you've gotta change the mounting system. I'm sure some other fellas here have pulled this one off and could offer some tips. I read in one of mothertrucker's Gallery submissions that one of his trucks had a later 250 in it-you might want to drop him a PM. Hope this helps, Rick.
