I'm no expert, but I know a few of these answers:
1. Aftermarket, and from what I hear, not necessary unless you are putting out insane amounts of power.
4. I have both a 3/8" (in ft./lbs.) and a 1/2" drive torque wrench, and I like the 1/2" much better.
