the motor has a horriable exhaust leak, seems the manifold is cracked--can i buy another new one? used? or can this be welded up? How hard is it to remove the manifold and replace it?
Also the carb seems to be crapping out, either it will need to be rebuilt or replaced..if I was to replace it what are my options? Is there another carb that is a bolt-on? Or does the intake manifold need to be swapped also?
I bought this to be my work hauler, can the 292 do the trick? I want to get as many ponies as i can from it any ideas? [low-buck] or should I be looking at a 350 swap?
any ideas? thanks- | | |
