check yer compression, sounds like maybe a burnt valve? only does it when that cylinder winds down at the right time, and then it fires, but fired by heat rather than spark w/ the force having to go out the carb cuz the piston has too much resistance [crank about stopped] - or maybe timing? or you could quit feeding the poor truck cucumbers
