My boys 70 chevy had one number off and we were able to get it taken care of easily. I will use your advise and phrase it as you said to get it correct. Now that you mention it the guy I bought the truck from had the original motor all the years he had it and it still had the 6 volt battery under the floor. This happen to be a friend from work which makes things much easier. My boys truck was a mess of owners and would have been difficult to get to the original owner or last registered owner. This fellow for my truck had it in the family for some 14 years. So I think it will all work out. Thanks Ed ke6bnl So. Calif.
