Jim, Thanks for the reply. I was wondering where the Chevy left off and the GMC started on the drivetrain. The '47-'54 GMC Maintenance Manual I have shows it as a Series 150-22. I am not sure if there is a Chevy equivalent or not.
I will give a few calls from your suggestions and let you know how it turns out. Already tried NAPA and their books do not go back that far. You know how it goes, it couldn't be that easy.
