I had a '69 Impala 12-bolt in my '49 that was just the right width (62" flange to flange). I recently replaced it with a '67 **** Galaxie/LTD 9-inch that is exactly the same width. I made the change so I would have a matching bolt pattern with the Mopar front suspension.
