EXACT same question about a year or so ago about the
EXACT same casting #, believe it or not.
I finally concluded that mine was the 250. Accoding to GM, the only six cylinder engines used in half ton pickups in 1966 were the 250 and the 292. And it definitely
ain't a 292.
Check your shop manual.
