What year is your engine? I have a #3 main cap from my infamous '54 full pressure shim-style 235. It uses the earlier dowel-type bearing inserts. It has the threaded boss on the top for the early-style oil pump pickup. If you want it, I'll send it for the cost of shipping if I can find it in my shop.
If you can save the engine, I also have a good '54 oil pan and a '54 reman water pump I never used that I'll let go cheap.
