aloha, there is only 1 guy in all of the Los Angeles basin, Gene, in Paramount, that will rebuild a powerglide with a warranty, may be more but I havn't heard of them and I've looked, my wife's '54 belair has one. Gene has lots of parts and will warranty his rebuilds, others won't touch them 'cause they don't have parts or the ones they can find are used or poor quality so they can't warranty them so they just don't bother. Gene has about a 3 month waiting list, he also does hydramatics. If it's going behind a V8 put a TH350, I did in my '59 El Camino and man what a differance! And so easy! Good luck
