My original 4 speed will not bolt up to the bellhousing of the 302. The 5 speed on the 302 is a monster, and doesn't fit well on the frame with my power master cylinder. Anyone know of a smaller GMC transmission that will bolt up to my 302 bellhousing?? I could use the bellhousing from the 228, but that would require turning down the flywheel, and I am not too interested in doing that (would require 1.5-2 inches of reduction)....any suggestions?? Thanks Jon | | |
