Two questions.
1. My trans, I think, makes a ringing sound only in third and fourth gear and only when I accelerate kind of hard. Any one wanna guess what that is? Is it serious? It drives fine.
2. I'm trying to figure out what the trans is. Its a 4 speed (granny + 3)standard on the floor. tHe numbers on it are V7SO7. I think the V might be an N, I can't tell. I did some research and it looks like it might be a muncie.

One more thing. How many of you go to do one little thing to your truck and end up spending half a day on it? I find it very relaxing under the truck on my creeper just fooling around w/ things. Maybe its just my novice curiosity.
