I put a new clutch, pressure plate T/O bearing and pilot bearing in the SM420 on my '66 C-10. Problem is, now at idle the clutch fork is chattering. I've adjusted the clutch travel per the manual and still it rattles. I'm thinking it's the pivot ball/fork/pressure plate combo. I've read somewhere that the ball and fork are set up for a particular T/O bearing width. Is this the problem or are the ball and fork worn out? I'm sure the tranny has to come back out, but I only want to do it once, since it's hard to bench press a SM420 while shooting the bolts. Thanks
