I'm also running the 3:08 rear in my 46 pickup with the T-5 and while I'd rather have a 3:50, this works just fine in my light weight pickup.

Prior to the T-5 trans I was running the Saginaw 4 speed so the 3:08 was fine. If I had a better ratio I'd change, but it's together and I like it.
