I just bought a 1966 Suburban in running but rough condition from a guy in Virginia.
It's a inline 6 (250, I think) with a converted-to-floor-shift 3 speed. The linkage is all messed up (hard to find any gear but 3rd) so that will be the first thing to tackle, so I can at least drive the thing.

This is the first Chevrolet truck I've owned, and will be the most complicated project I've ever attempted. The main reason I bought this vehicle was for a project for my two sons (12 & 14) and myself.
I've been a car-guy all my life, having owned '64 and '69 Impalas and a '72 Camaro in the GM family. My favorites are '61 - '64 Impalas and Belairs (couldn't afford any of those, though).
I'll probably pop in here with various stupid questions, but I'll try to use the search feature first.
