Just an observation....your 54 engine, if original, is running a 6 volt 139 tooth flywheel
with a 6 v footstomp starter. Your 59 if stock, is a 12v 168 tooth flywheel.....a 59 solenoid controlled 12v starter will not work on your 54 6v flywheel. And BTW...a footstomp starter in the cab draws as much attention as a pair of carbs.....

Once you get your T5 installed along with the appropriate Holley/Weber or a pair of Carter/Webers you'll rarely need to be under the hood making adjustments. You'll be out cruising the streets of Tacoma and enjoying driving your Burb!!!!!!!!!!!!
