Elcoloco, welcome to the bolt. I have done this swap on my 49 suburban. My front end came off of an 84 GMC 1/2 ton. Do a search for the Andereggen/Joyce IFS swap. If you like go to my photo album for pictures of how I did it. It bolts up to the AD frame and you end up with front disc brakes, IFS and power steering if you want it and its a TRUCK front end.
