whichever handle has the lock in it is the one that locks the handle, and that was originally the passengers door, so the drivers door had to have the lock from the inside - folks didn't lock the doors when they were driving back then
looks like none of the vendors have the locking handle for 41-46 anymore, so you're stuck with finding a used one
