Deep into the bodywork on my sub. When I first bought this thing it looked like it needed very little bodywork. It appeared that the lower rear corners were the only really bad spots. Got 2 new lower corners from Metalman and welded them on, Came out good. After I had it blasted a lot of other damage showed up, lower windshield corners, rear side window sills and front floor panels along with inner cowl panels. The cherry appearing rear fenders were 90% bondo. The PO didn't bother bumping them out and just covered them with filler however I am gaining on it. I am working with a retired body guy and he is fussier than my wife. Seems like it should be going faster than it is. He only allows me to do the basic hammering and welding and he does the finishing. Whos truck is it anyway? I only wanted it to be a solid driver but its going to end up looking like a new body. I am not complaining but at my age I am hoping to drive it for a few years before I croak. I am going to be happy with it even if it takes longer than I had hoped. Is this the stage where I hear guys talking about hitting the wall and losing interest? Any encouragement out there? Weeds
