My 49 sub has the fresh air cowl vent on the left side and the vent on the top of the cowl just behind the hood. Both of these vents have handles for opening and closing. Directly opposite of the left side cowl vent is a louvered vent that seemingly has no purpose. While replacing the right side inner cowl panel I noticed that the louvers lead into a closed area between the door post and the front fender. There is also a removable cover on the inside of the cowl panel that seals the area off. I am trying to figure out what the louvered area is for. Any help out there? Weeds | | |
