Hey fat fenders, The Blue ID Plates, didn't come out until 1953. Black would be correct for the '47-'52 Chevy AD Trucks. If your 1/2 ton, starts with the "KP" prefix, it's a 1952 year model. My '52 Chevy 1 ton panel, is "KS".
