unsure of your year truck; my '56 arms has a small
clip, under the arm, which hooks onto the splined hub. you need to make sure that it's not locked in.
THEN...spread a towel/T-shirt around the work area. i use two flat-bladed screwdrivers, to pry the arms off, at the base.
it always pops off...right onto the towel/T-shirt.
