in a "Suburban" and a "Carryall"? I've heard both terms used to describe the vehicles with station wagon type windows, but is there really a difference? I've got one, which I've owned for over 25 years, and used as a daily driver for a long time. It's a 59 model, with sliding windows, and plug-in sockets in the floor for rear seats. At some time in the past, it's had panel truck style rear doors installed, but there's evidence it had the clamshell tailgate at one time. I installed a 307 engine, 4-speed granny box trans, and a Dana 60 3/4 ton rear end back in the late 70's. I'm considering a rehab again, this time with a Caddy 500 engine, Turbo 400 trans, and a 3/4 ton IFS suspension to go with the Dana rear end. Maybe someday!
