I thought since the engine had to be pulled on the 57, this would be a good time to address the front end. I would like to do the Mustang II weld in kit, but finances won't allow it. So, got a hold of a 1979 Firebird for front graft and rear end - steering column. I've got the engine, fenders and such off. Started to level the car and ended up with a sore head from scratching. Question: how do you level a unibody car? I tried to level the front subframe underneath the body where it ties to the body. This is the only straight area. There is no place on the body (that isn't banged up). Should you use a line through the upper and lower ball joint centers?
