denny, my 49 3600 rides pretty smooth and the only vibs are from the trany . when i first found it , it had not been driven much for several years and road stiffer than it does now. i heated all the spring bushing with the grease fitting out till the old dryed grease ran out . pumped new grease in and the shackles seem to work smoother now.
also this may sound silly, but the seat in my truck is in very good shape as far as the springs and padding goes and i believe that helps the ride.
any one notice that the steering wheel seems to get closer to your belt every year???
