You guys are right. It probably is a 62. At least it has a 62 grill and headlights. I didn't look at the pics close, I just noticed the wrap around windshield. If it does have the front torsion bar suspension and rear coil springs, you can count on being a 60-62. A lot of these trucks have had body parts exchanged over their 40+ years due to accidents, etc... The only way to tell for sure is to check the vin and chassis. Also, if it is 62 or before, it will most likely have a 235 if that is the original motor. The 261 was an option only in 62 for the light duty trucks.
I stand by my estimate on the value. But if it is a 60-62, the parts are harder to find and more expensive. To upgrade or restorod it will require some degree of fabrication and/or money. Especially concerning the suspension and brakes. Definately more so than a 63 would. Something to keep in mind.
BTW, what are they asking?
