Reproduction parts are all you will find for these older trucks. The quality on an item like that is usually pretty good. The problem with a fuel pump is it may have been in stock for a long time & was shelfworn. The gas we get now is not compatable with some of the materials they used to use. You could have dirt or rust particles in the gas tank that are clogging up the checkvalves in the pump. Put an inline filter somewhere in the line between the tank & pump.
