Depends on your definition of "better"

Depends on your definition of "fun" I like manuals but my opinion is that the fun factor in shifting is found more in sports cars than pickups. Manuals are great for work and great for high rpm high spirited driving in sports type cars. For a daily pleasure driver it sure is nice to rest that clutch leg. Decide what you'll do most & decide from there.
