Today I finally got the lower grill completely loose from all the other stuff that normally surrounds it. This has been a long process, several months, as a lot of that stuff was welded. I have been repairing each of these pieces one at a time as I take them apart i.e. the front fenders, splash pans, etc. Now I have finally “bit the bullet” and removed the dozen or so nuts & bolts and cut the last of the welds that were holding the individual grill teeth to the badly bent lower splash pan. Seems like at sometime in the trucks long history some driver did not have a good handle of the ground clearance available.

Anyhow both the grill and lower splash pan are just short of FUBAR, and that front valiance panel is just plain missing. I’m going to try to save the grill and the first thing I need to know is……Are all the grill bars spaced the same?? And what is the dimension between the grill bars??
