| | | | Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 293 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 293 | I'm replacing the kingpins, bushings, and thrust bearings on my '49 Chevy 1/2-ton truck with all new parts. My shop manual says nothing about lubricating the thurst bearings. Should I pack grease into the thrust bearings before assembling the steering knuckle? Thrust bearings are new and not currently lubricated. - Thanks. | | |
