5'8" here Fred and reverse is a close one for me. The pedals are comfortable for me when the seat is all the way back, I can’t imagining what it would be like if I were any taller. I think back in the day I was about the average height, today the average is taller.
Just think what it would be like trying to climb into the cab of an Art Deco. They were 7 inches shorter and 8 inches narrower in the cab, so they must have been made for little people.
