I've seen a 36 on a Nissan pickup frame...owner/builder did a great job and his fit and finish is great! However, centering the rear wheels in the bed fenders has the front wheels about 3" too far back. It runs and drives great...even has the Nissan dash sculpted inside. He built it while in Hawaii and has driven it across the US....gets great mileage as it is the 4 banger.....however, when you get a side profile, the misplaced front wheels jump right out at you.

Anyone considering this swap should be really careful about the wheel base!!!!
