Hi everyone, haven't been on the puter for some time. I'm still working on my 66 C60 , and probably will be for quite a while. But I found myself a new truck.

A regular customer came to my shop , driving this truck. It brought back memories of all the good times I had skiing, hunting, and fishing, and camping all around Alaska in my old 67. I told him about my truck and that I regretted selling it. I really admired his truck, and told him if he ever wanted to sell, I would buy it.

Time went by, and months later, he drove up, came in, and said, "I have to sell it." I said I'll take it! Didn't need to drive it or anything. Just wrote out the check. He probably thought I was nuts. But I didn't want to miss out on the truck for any reason...him regretting selling, like I did?

Anyway I drove it home, about 50 miles, and every mile I thought how lucky I was to get this truck. It runs like a champ, solid all around, and is a blast to drive.

I called my Wife on the cell on the way home, and told her that I bought an old Chevy truck and was on the way home. She didn't sound very thrilled, to say the least. I met her on the road just up from the house. She had an unbelieving look on her face and the first words she said was, "We will have to buy a carport, that truck can't sit outside." I love that woman!

Anyway I thought I'd share my story and the new 67 with you.

Thanks
Bill
