| | | | Joined: May 2003 Posts: 183 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2003 Posts: 183 | I saw a truck today ( I think it was a 51 GMC) that had a rubber block on the metal bar that is attached to the brake pedal where it sticks through the firewall. The rubber piece was about 2"x1"x1".
It had a hole in the middle for the metal bar to go through.
It acts as a stop so the metal bar doesn't strike the underside of the firewall when the brake pedal is released.
Does anyone one know who sells this, and what it is officially called?
My dad always told me, "Don't force it, get a bigger hammer".
